Beloved, it is said that some people grumble because roses have thorns; but I am grateful that thorns have roses.
How about you? Are you numbered among those who complain that roses have thorns, or are you numbered among those who rejoice because thorns have roses?
Listen, my friend:
No matter the situation, there is always something to be grateful for…. While your everyday may not APPEAR to be good, you can best believe that there is always something good in your everyday. As a child of the living God who lives by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us, there will always be something good in your everyday.
Listen, beloved, as a child of the one and only true and living God, Yahweh, you can rest assured that no matter how bad your day appears to be, there really is good in your day; It’s just that sometimes it requires us to change the lens from which we are viewing our day through. That is, we must see our everyday through the lens of faith. In doing so beloved, we will see our day and all it entails, the good, the bad, and the ugly, with a FAITH perspective, and not a SIGHT perspective.
As a child of the living God, we are instructed in 2 Corinthians 5:6-7 to walk, that is, to live by faith, and not by sight:
Listen to this same scripture, 2 Cor. 5:6-7, in the Message Bible: So then, being always filled with good courage and confident hope, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord— for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—
Beloved, though we are in this world, we are not of this world, and unfortunately, nor are we exempt from the trials, troubles, and tribulations that are a part of this fallen world; yet we are to walk by faith and not by sight, that is, we are to live our lives in light of eternity, not in light of what we see with our natural eyes; and this beloved, will require us to do so by faith.
Therefore beloved, we must learn to see our days through the eyes of FAITH, that is:
the God kind of FAITH that calls those things that be not as though they were.
The God kind of FAITH that knows and believes that trouble doesn’t last always, and that this to will pass. It doesn’t matter what it is, this too will pass.
The God kind of FAITH that knows and believes, because I love the Lord, and am the called of the Lord, all things really are working together for my good, every trial, every tribulation, every heartache, every disappointment, all the pain, all the suffering; Faith tells me that it’s all working together for my good.
The God Kind of faith that knows and believes, that the sufferings of this world are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us.
Romans *:18-21 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens. Message Bible
So beloved, today I challenge you to dig beyond the surface, that is your sight, and see your every day through the eyes of faith. It is only then that you will discover the bountiful treasures of your everyday.
Child of God may you never forget that God can and will use every situation and every circumstance, even the thorny and painful circumstances, to develop and conform you to the image of his Son, Jesus Christ. Like it or not, that is His goal for every child of God, to conform you to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Well-beloved I pray that you were encouraged, as well as strengthened to continue on in this Christian journey.
Let’s pray:
Now, Father, I pray for my friends that are listening to me right now. I ask that you grace them with the supernatural ability to see their every day through the eyes of faith. Anoint their eyes to see what the natural eye cannot see; anoint their ears to hear what the natural ear cannot hear; And As the just, I pray that they will take their everyday lives and live them out by faith in the Son of God who loved them and gave Himself for them. Bless them and increase them in every area of their lives. And for this, I give you praise, in Jesus’ name I pray amen
Until next time, I pray God bless and keep you. I pray that He makes His grace abound towards you always, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
I love you with the love of God that has been shed abroad upon my heart by the Holy Ghost. Take care beloved.
